Hmm, let me say this. There's practically no violence in this movie, nor practically no action scenes. Solaris is set in a science fiction time when a succesful psychiatrist, George Clooney, get's a message of his friend, to get to Solaris, because he has to. After arriving there, strange things had happened there. As he sleeps, he dreams of his wife, who died years before, but when he wakes up, she is suddenly here. The movie started off a bit strange, with plotholes, but gets filled up throughout the movie. His trip from Earth to Solaris has been kept short, and his arrival on the ship the same. The soundtrack was pretty nice, setting a bit the score in the strange dream/reality paralel that's in the movie. It does do something with me because of the piece is quiet, soft, and very slowly evolves to a chaotic - sort state. Not everyone would like it. Anyway, It's a nice movie, but it leaves me mixed up. I'm giving it a 3. Up to you to see if you want to see it. It's good to see with a girlfriend, though. - JC
