Mastermind terrorist Osama binLaden and his assistants had
originally planned to blow up 12 Western airliners in Asia. He then backed out of that evil diabolic plan for fear that it wouldn't work.
He then had planned to have five planes hijacked on the East Coast and five more hijacked on the West Coast for a total of ten planes. They were to be grabbed and crashed into famous
landmark builings or symbols of freedom.
He again backed out of that evil diabolic plan for fear that it wouldn't work.
BinLaden had originally eyed other famous landmark cities in the USA to attack. Among them were Las Vegas, Seattle, Chicago and Atlanta, in addition to New York & Washington. Videos of these places were immediatley confiscated during a raid of one of their hideouts by military forces. Lady Liberty, the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building were also among his choices to attack & destroy.
The then-planned terror attacks for 09-11 was five years in the making. The terrorists involved and those who also planned to be involved, had made several dry runs on nonstop transcon flight from the East Coast to the West Coast as quiet discrete rehersals to see if they could really be able to pull off the third planned attack.
The cleanup at Ground Zero was first anticipated to take a year. It was done in 8 months.
